Katie was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
Katie was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2007 and began her law practice in Miami, Florida, where she defended major cruise lines and shipping companies in tort and maritime actions. Katie returned to her hometown of Atlanta and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2009. Prior to joining the Firm, Katie practiced for many years with another Atlanta firm, where her practice focused on commercial and business litigation. Katie joined Evert Weathersby Houff in 2017 and focuses on the defense of corporate clients in complex litigation, mass tort, and products liability matters.
